Frequently asked questions
Which products are included?
Every EA and tool of our own on this page, including every one we add later. One licence per account, no subscription, no price. News Filter, Daily Loss Limit and Magic Stats are free for everyone on MQL5 anyway; Plimsoll and Semaphore are not released yet.
Do my conditions at the broker change?
No. If you open your account through our partner link, the broker pays us a commission from the trading volume – not you. Your conditions stay the same.
I already have an account at one of the brokers.
Some brokers can move an existing account to our partner code via their support. Send the request anyway, we check and get back to you. Otherwise open a new account through the partner link.
Do the EAs run on demo accounts and in the Strategy Tester?
Yes. In the Strategy Tester and on demo accounts the EAs run without limits. On a live account without a licence they open no new trades.
MT4 or MT5?
Every product on this page is built for MetaTrader 5. There is no MT4 version at the moment.
What happens if I switch brokers?
The licence covers one MT login number at one of the three partner brokers. Send a separate request for every further or new account; that account must be opened through our partner link as well. The offer does not apply at other brokers.
What do I set in MetaTrader?
Once, under Tools → Options → Expert Advisors, allow WebRequest for https://algoverdict.com. The EA checks the licence there once a day.
How is this financed?
Through the partner brokers’ commission and through sales on MQL5. Both are a conflict of interest: that is why we never grade or rank our own products, partner links are marked as ads, and the partnership changes no broker grade. More in the disclosure and the methodology.
