2. Hosting (Vercel)

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When you access the site, Vercel processes technically necessary data (in particular IP address, date/time, requested resource, browser/device information) to deliver and secure the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure, performant operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Processing may take place in the USA; the transfer is safeguarded by EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

3. Domain & DNS

The domain is managed via Hostinger Operations UAB; technical connection data may arise during DNS resolution.

4. Server log files

For operation and security, access data is processed in server log files (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referrer, user agent). This data is not used to identify individuals and is not merged with other data.

5. Cookies & audience measurement

We use Vercel Web Analytics (Vercel Inc., see above) to measure website reach statistically (e.g. page views, referrer, country, device type). It sets no cookies, builds no cross-device profiles and does not store IP addresses. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Partner cookie "av_ref": if you open AlgoVerdict via a partner link with a ?ref= parameter, we store that partner code in a cookie for 90 days so a later click on a provider link can be attributed to the partner. The cookie contains only the partner code (Sec. 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Technically necessary session cookies are set when you sign in. We use no other analytics or marketing cookies.

5a. User account, portfolio tracker & payments

User account (Supabase). When you register we process your email address, a securely hashed password and the trading accounts you connect (account number, server, metrics). We use Supabase Inc. as processor; the database is located in Frankfurt am Main (EU). Legal basis: performance of contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You can have your account deleted at any time.

Account connection (MetaApi). If you connect an MT4/MT5 account via MetaApi, the required credentials or tokens are transmitted to Agilium Labs LLC, Sheridan (WY), USA, which retrieves the account data on our behalf (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Alternatively you can use the publisher EA, which only transmits metrics.

Payments (Stripe). For Pro subscriptions you are redirected to Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Dublin, Ireland. Payment data is processed solely by Stripe (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Pro waitlist. If you join the waitlist we store your email address solely to inform you when Pro launches (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time by email.

Newsletter / emails. For the weekly digest (new EA reviews, guides, signal-health notes) we use double opt-in: after signing up you receive an email with a confirmation link, and you are subscribed only after clicking it. We store your email address, language, the sign-up source, the consent wording and the timestamps of sign-up, confirmation, sending and, where applicable, unsubscription. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email; afterwards the address is kept only as proof of the opt-out. We also send transactional emails without advertising: a one-time welcome email after registration (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and a confirmation when you join the Pro waitlist (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Emails are sent via Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., San Francisco, USA) as processor; transfers to the USA are based on the EU standard contractual clauses.

6. Affiliate links

This website contains affiliate links to brokers, prop firms, VPS and signal providers. Clicking such a link redirects you to the respective provider, who may set their own cookies and process data under their own privacy policy. If a contract is concluded we may receive a commission – at no extra cost to you. We do not transmit personal data to these providers ourselves. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in funding the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

6a. YouTube videos

On some pages we embed explainer videos about our own products from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Opening the page does not connect to YouTube: you only see a placeholder graphic of our own. Only when you click the video does your browser load the player in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode from youtube-nocookie.com. Your IP address and the page you are on are then transmitted to YouTube, among other data, and YouTube may use cookies or similar technologies; a transfer to the USA is possible (Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). Legal basis: your consent by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG); it applies to that one video only. See Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy

7. Contacting us

If you contact us by email, we process your details to handle the request (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR). The data is deleted once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in our case the Data Protection Commissioner of Brandenburg, Germany).

For security reasons this site uses TLS encryption (HTTPS).
