ToTheMoon Review

3.2/ 5
⚡ Running live in our EA parkLast updated: 20 September 2026

ToTheMoon by Daniel Moraes Da Silva is an AUDCAD grid with martingale averaging that the vendor documents with 21 public signals — from 7% to 99% drawdown depending on preset. On our live account since July 2026: 70 trades, profit factor 3.17, +7.4% in 74 days with small lots. This EA's risk is not a product property but a preset decision — and that is exactly what makes it dangerous for beginners.

  • Vendor transparency at a rare level: 21 public signals including the bad ones (up to 99% drawdown) — nothing is hidden
  • Clean on our account: 70 trades, PF 3.17, longest losing streak 2 trades, lots stayed small
  • Long vendor track on the recommended preset: NoPain MT5 for almost five years, 5,852 trades at 21% drawdown
  • Rent from $100/month and a free demo — you can test before paying $600
  • Grid without a hard stop: lot escalation is by design (0.01 → 0.05 on our account), 'Smart Stop Loss' is not a stop-loss
  • The same robot delivers 7% or 99% drawdown depending on preset — nine of the 21 vendor signals sit above 40%
  • Our account sat at −20% equity drawdown on 20 Sept; on the shared account it is not measurable which EA holds the open baskets
  • $600 to buy for a single-pair grid only makes sense with capital from ~$2,000
  • Our own track is short (74 days) — no trend break on AUDCAD experienced

Our own live account

Real money on an account in our own EA park, figures from the Space Tracker (no vendor material). Max floating loss is the most honest risk figure — how deep open positions ran into the red at their worst. On shared accounts we count only this EA’s trades (magic number); a clean per-EA floating loss is then not measurable.

What ToTheMoon Is

ToTheMoon by Daniel Moraes Da Silva (MQL5 market, MT5, $600, separate MT4 twin) is a grid system with martingale averaging on AUDCAD M5: when price moves against the position, the EA adds with rising lots, seeks the average price and closes in partial orders on the way back. There is no classic stop-loss; the vendor calls his drawdown management "Smart Stop Loss". The robot has been on the market since May 2023 (version 3.6 from May 2026), has its own website, and per our research the vendor already works on a profit-share basis — unusual for an MQL5 seller.

We have run ToTheMoon on our own live account since 7 July 2026 (RoboForex ECN, MT5, $1,000 base), on AUDCAD. ToTheMoon shares that account with two Happy Forex EAs — so we count only the trades carrying its magic number.

The Numbers: Our Account and the 21 Vendor Signals

Our account, ToTheMoon trades only (as of 20 Sept 2026, 74 days): 70 closed trades, win rate 74.3%, profit factor 3.17, +$73.65 net — +7.4% on the $1,000 base, about +3% per month. Monthly: July +$17, August +$21, September (to the 18th) +$36. Largest single loss −$5.90, largest win +$7.42, longest losing streak 2 trades, lots between 0.01 and 0.05.

What we cannot measure cleanly: on the reference date the account held seven open positions with −$617 floating, i.e. about 20% equity drawdown. Whether those baskets belong to ToTheMoon or to one of the two Happy Forex EAs is something the account API does not reveal — so we neither credit nor charge that drawdown to ToTheMoon. It is the reason we fall back on the vendor signals for the risk assessment.

The 21 vendor signals are the real data trove — and the warning at the same time. On the recommended "NoPain" preset the MT5 signal shows 250 weeks of history with 5,852 trades, profit factor 1.69 and 21% maximum drawdown; the MT4 signal 89 weeks with 831 trades, PF 2.33, also 21%. That is a respectable long-term track. But the same robot delivers completely different results per preset: NoFear 7% drawdown, UpHill Old 99% drawdown (−76% growth over 250 weeks). Nine of the 21 signals sit above 40%: MinorForce MT5 74%, MajorForce MT4 71%, MajorForce MT5 69%, RetireNow 59%, TriForce 45–51%, EasyGoal 43%.

The lesson: this EA's risk is not a product property but a preset decision. Load the wrong set file and you are not running "ToTheMoon with a bit more risk" but a system that has demonstrably wiped out an account.

Why We Rate Transparency High and Strategy Risk Low

That the vendor does not delete the 99% signals but leaves them up is rare in this niche and the reason for the 3.8 on transparency — you can see the truth if you look. The design itself — grid with rising lots, no hard stop — remains what our guide to grid and martingale EAs describes: a calm curve until the trend break. AUDCAD is historically a benign pair for that; it is why the NoPain signals have survived five years. It is no guarantee they survive the sixth.

Cost & Usability

$600 to buy is a lot for a single-pair grid; renting from $100/month and the free demo are the better entry. Requirements: hedging account, leverage above 1:100, USD account preferred, $600 (NoStress) to $1,200 (NoPain) minimum deposit — we consider double that appropriate. Operation is preset work: load the preset and do not touch it, and only NoPain or NoFear. An ECN broker with a tight AUDCAD spread is mandatory (EA broker comparison).

Who It Is (Not) For

Suitable for traders who want an AUDCAD grid with a five-year documented vendor track, stick strictly to the NoPain/NoFear preset, bring $2,000 of capital and treat the EA as a small building block in an EA portfolio — not next to Waka Waka or other AUD/CAD grids, because the baskets then sit underwater simultaneously.

Not suitable for prop-firm accounts, for beginners asked to choose between 21 presets, and for anyone who mistakes "Smart Stop Loss" for a stop-loss.

Verdict

ToTheMoon is a transparent, long-documented AUDCAD grid with a vendor who does not hide his failures — and with a design that wipes out an account on the wrong preset. Our account shows +7.4% in 74 days at profit factor 3.17; the vendor signals show five years at 21% drawdown. Our 3.2/5 is a "yellow if you take the preset seriously". We keep running it — small, on the NoPain preset, and with an eye on equity, not balance.
