What FX Proctor Max Is
FX Proctor Max by vendor Forex Store is a fully automated daily-trend system for the four USD majors AUDUSD, EURUSD, USDCAD and USDCHF. According to the product description it combines trend confirmation, adaptive stop-loss and take-profit calibration and “dynamic spacing between entries”. That last point matters: if the market runs against the first position, the EA adds more. AlgoTradingSpace (product page) therefore classifies it as martingale itself and sells it for $589 one-time.
The Live Data
ATS runs FX Proctor Max on two of its own accounts (as of 30.09.2026):
- Live, BlackBull ($3,000 deposit): +27.3% in 218 days, +3.4% per month on average, profit factor 2.66 on 196 trades, max floating loss -11.6%, max drawdown per ATS statistics 9.9%. $600 has already been withdrawn.
- Funded, MyFX Markets: +5.2% in 98 days, PF 1.37, max floating loss -10.1%.
The second row is modest, but it does a job: two accounts at two brokers show almost the same worst open loss. That suggests the add-on logic is capped and the risk does not hinge on the luck of a single account.
A third account speaks against the EA: on an iFunds account that FX Proctor Max shares with Dark Nova we isolated its trades by magic number. Over 176 days it shows a profit factor of 0.75 and −0.54% a month on average at a 7.66% own drawdown (Waterline fingerprint, as of 22.09.2026). So the risk stays small here too — the edge does not.
Strategy & Risk
An add-on system with a trend filter is less dangerous than a blind grid, but it is still a system that holds losses rather than realising them. Our methodology derives strategy risk from the worst measured drawdown (just over 11% here, which would give 4.0) and deducts for the martingale design — hence 3.6.
The second point is concentration. Four majors sound like diversification but are four variants of one question: where is the US dollar heading? A Fed surprise hits every position at once. If you run FX Proctor Max in an EA portfolio, pair it with an EA on crosses or gold, not with another USD system. A news filter ahead of rate decisions is mandatory.
Costs
$589 sits in the upper middle of the ATS catalogue. At the live account's +3.4% a month, a $1,000 account needs about a year and a half to earn back the price; with $3,000 of capital as at ATS it is just over six months. Below $2,000 of capital the EA hardly pays.
Who It Is (Not) For
Suitable for traders with at least $2,000–3,000 of capital who want a calmly measured trend system on the majors and knowingly accept the add-on logic.
Not suitable for small accounts (the price eats the return), for portfolios with further USD-heavy EAs, and for prop challenges with tight daily limits.
Verdict
3.8/5: FX Proctor Max shows reproducibly low floating losses on two accounts and a solid live return. Deductions go to the add-on design, the dollar concentration, the high price and a third account on which the edge is missing.
