How the strategy trades
Schematic · no market dataSchematic of the Martingale strategy type: it explains the process, not the outcome. No prices, no real market data, no performance of ATS Core EA.
How it works
- As with the grid, a position is added every 20 pips – but with a ×2 multiplier: 0.10 → 0.20 → 0.40 → 0.80 lots.
- The big positions drag the average down, close to the lowest entry.
- That is why a small bounce is already enough to profit. The catch: volume doubles at every level and the floating loss grows even faster – one level too many, and a single basket wipes out the gains of many before it.
What we check
What we check on real martingale EAs: the multiplier, the maximum number of levels and the volume at the last level relative to the account. A smooth equity curve is not a quality signal here.
Schematic with demonstration values: a simulated price path without prices, results in pips weighted to 0.10 lots, deliberately favourable. Not this EA’s market or settings, not a backtest and not investment advice.
Design & risk
ATS Core EA by Algo Trading Space is a Grid, Martingale EA on EURJPY, AUDCAD, GBPUSD (MT5), sold via AlgoTradingSpace. When price runs against the basket, the EA adds further positions, each larger than the last. All positions close together once the average is in profit. That gives a calm curve while the market ranges; a trend that runs through takes back many small wins at once. Whether there is a hard stop per position we have not checked individually. Via AlgoTradingSpace you get a calibrated setfile with a fixed risk frame.
Stop logic not checked individually
If a trend runs out of the range, the open loss grows with every step, and every step is larger than the last. Whether the EA sets a hard stop per position we have not checked individually. Set an account stop, for example with an external drawdown guard.

Frequently asked questions
Which markets does ATS Core EA trade?
EURJPY, AUDCAD, GBPUSD. Several instruments only spread risk while they do not share a driver — correlated pairs go down together when it matters.
Which platform does ATS Core EA run on?
MT5. Continuous operation needs a VPS, because a sleeping machine leaves open positions unattended: VPS providers compared.
Does ATS Core EA use grid or martingale?
Yes — the design is Grid + Martingale. That means further orders are added when price runs against an open position, and there is usually no hard per-trade stop-loss. Such systems stay quiet for a long time and then take the loss all at once. How that works and how to spot the dangerous variant is in our guide to grid and martingale EAs.
How good is ATS Core EA?
Our grade: 5.2 out of 10. It comes from six criteria: risk control, verifiability, transparency, value for money, usability and broker independence. The sub-grades are computed by our data formula; criteria, weights and caps are the same for every EA, whoever sells it, and no EA vendor pays for ratings. The full calculation with every threshold is in our methodology.
Is there a verified live track for ATS Core EA?
No — we hold no live account for this specific EA that we could view. What we can place is the design and the vendor context. Without a documented account the evidence mark is low; how we weight that is in our methodology.
Changes to this review
- Second review by an AI agent (different model, blind): 1 of 6 criteria agree. Differences:
