Ultimate Breakout System product shot
Product shot by Profalgo Limited — marketing material, not evidence of performance.

A configurable breakout framework from the established Profalgo team with 100+ set files; it is the building block the Gold Reaper is built on and discloses a conservative drawdown profile. The red flag is less the substance than the price (~$1,499–1,999) against a still-young live record — you buy a toolkit, not a finished track. Our audit: yellow, 62/100.

    What Ultimate Breakout System is

Ultimate Breakout System by Profalgo Limited is a breakout EA on XAUUSD (MT4/MT5), sold via MQL5-Market. We classify it independently — by strategy risk, verified live track, transparency and value, not by vendor promises.

    Live results & track record

Only one young public signal (since ~May 2026, ~+11 % YTD at ~11 % DD) — no long live track. The crux here: there is no continuous, publicly verifiable live account for this EA that we could read ourselves. An equity curve from backtests or screenshots says little about real money — slippage, spread and execution are missing. Without a verifiable account we treat every return claim with scepticism, and the rating stays deliberately cautious.

    Strategy & risk

The breakout approach sets the risk profile. The approach uses defined entries/exits; what matters is whether the live track confirms the backtest picture. On MQL5 you buy the vendor setting — a hard risk cap (parameters or an external drawdown guard) is on you to set.

    Cost & usability

On MQL5 the EA costs from $1,499. You buy the vendor version without calibration — risk cap, broker choice and setfile are on you.

    Who it is (not) for

Suitable for traders who check the live signal carefully themselves and run the EA with their own hard risk cap and budget it as *one* building block. Not suitable for small accounts without a buffer or for anyone who mistakes a smooth backtest curve for a guarantee.

    Verdict

Ultimate Breakout System lands at 3.2/5 — with reservations. Check the MQL5 live signal carefully before buying.

    How the strategy trades

A schematic simulation of the strategy type we assign Ultimate Breakout System to — not a replica of this EA and not real price data.

    Realised

    How it works

    1. In every session a quiet phase marks out a range: its high and its low.
    2. A buy stop sits above the high, a sell stop below the low. Whichever fills first counts; the other is cancelled.
    3. The stop sits on the far side of the range, the target at 1.5× that distance. Because every range has a different width, the levels move each time.

    What we check

What we check on real breakout EAs: how often false breakouts hit the stop, and whether the reward-to-risk still holds after spread and slippage.

Demonstration values: a simulated EURUSD path with 0.10 lots and $10,000 starting capital, deliberately favourable – every basket and every trend works out here. Not a real trading strategy, not a backtest and not investment advice.

    Frequently asked questions

Which markets does Ultimate Breakout System trade?

XAUUSD. Mind the symbol: brokers name commodities differently (XAUUSD, GOLD, XTIUSD, USOIL and so on). Checking Market Watch before attaching the EA avoids the most common setup mistake.

Which platform does Ultimate Breakout System run on?

MT4/MT5. Continuous operation needs a VPS, because a sleeping machine leaves open positions unattended: VPS providers compared.

What does Ultimate Breakout System cost?

from $1,499 (as of our last check). We take prices from the vendor, ATS or MQL5 product page, not from marketing copy — that often quotes different figures than the buy button.

Is Ultimate Breakout System any good?

Our grade: 3.2 out of 5, traffic light yellow — with reservations. It comes from six criteria, weighted most heavily towards the verified live track record and strategy risk. We rate from real accounts, not vendor backtests, and no EA vendor pays for ratings — the weighting is public in our methodology.

Is there a verified live track for Ultimate Breakout System?

No — we hold no independently checked live track for this specific EA. What we can place is the design and the vendor context. Without a documented account we rate conservatively; how we weight that is in our methodology.
