Gold EA (XAUUSD) for MT5 with four independent breakout and momentum strategies, each switchable and separate for buys and sells. Stop-loss, take-profit and trailing are preset or freely adjustable, and one feature takes the broker’s actual slippage into account.

What Ghost Scalper is
Ghost Scalper by Thomas Christoph Lipka is a scalping, breakout EA on XAUUSD (MT5), sold on the MQL5 market. AlgoTradingSpace does not carry it, so we only describe it: design, cost, audience. We publish no grade, recommendation or live figures for this EA.
Strategy & risk
The scalping, breakout approach sets the risk profile. The approach uses defined entries and exits; what matters is whether a real account confirms the backtest picture. What you buy is the vendor setting — a hard risk cap (parameters or an external drawdown guard) is on you to set.
Cost & usability
The EA costs $649. There is no calibration and no onboarding — risk cap, broker choice and setfile are on you.
Who it is (not) for
Suitable for traders who check live evidence themselves, run the EA with their own hard risk cap and budget it as *one* building block. Not suitable for small accounts without a buffer or for anyone who mistakes a smooth backtest curve for a guarantee.
How the strategy trades
A schematic simulation of the strategy type we assign Ghost Scalper to — not a replica of this EA and not real price data.
How it works
- While price is above the EMA 20, the uptrend holds.
- After a small pullback the EA buys 0.10 lots with a tight target (+6 pips) and a stop twice as wide (−12 pips).
- Each trade earns little; the many small gains add up. Because the stop is larger than the target, the hit rate has to stay high – and spread and slippage take their biggest bite here.
What we check
What we check on real scalpers: whether live results hold up to the backtest once real spreads, commissions and slippage kick in – and with which broker.
Demonstration values: a simulated EURUSD path with 0.10 lots and $10,000 starting capital, deliberately favourable – every basket and every trend works out here. Not a real trading strategy, not a backtest and not investment advice.
